Cutting boards to length instead? Use the Cut List Optimizer.
Fractions are fine: type 23 1/4,
30-7/8 or 4'.
Length runs with the grain. A 4 × 8 sheet is 96 long by 48 wide.
| Length | Width | Price | Max |

Leave Price blank and it optimises for the fewest sheets instead of the lowest cost. Leave Max blank for unlimited.
| Qty | Length | Width | Name | Grain |

Grain ticked means the part must stay the way you typed it — length along the sheet's length. Unticked lets it be turned 90° to save material.
Every layout here is guillotine-compatible: each cut runs all the way across the piece it's cutting, so you can do the whole thing on a table saw or with a track saw.
This optimizer is free to use, and anything you build with it is yours. It's a one-person hobby project, put together in whatever time is left over after the day job. If it saved you a sheet of plywood, a small donation helps me keep building and sharing free tools like it.
Missing a sheet size, a feature, or a unit you need? Tell me and I'll look at adding it.
