Every cut eats one blade width of material. A 1/8" kerf across twenty cuts is 2 1/2" of wood — enough to cost you a whole board.
This calculator is free to use, and anything you build with it is yours. It's a one-person hobby project, put together in whatever time is left over after the day job. If it saved you a board or a trip back to the lumber yard, a small donation helps me keep building and sharing free tools like it.
Missing a board size, a feature, or a unit you need? Tell me and I'll look at adding it.
